About the RoleThe Proposal Manager III is responsible for leading the development and writing of proposal responses by identifying and clarifying requirements and evaluation criteria, studying solicitation documents, and analyzing costs. This role requires an experienced professional with a deep understanding of federal procurement processes, various contract vehicles, and the ability to lead complex government agency or military proposal teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, demonstrated by a PMP certification, and excellent communication and organizational skills.In this role, you will lead the development and writing of proposal responses by identifying and clarifying requirements and evaluation criteria, while studying solicitation documents to understand the scope, requirements, and evaluation criteria. You will analyze costs and incorporate them into proposal responses, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure proposal compliance. Managing and leading multiple proposal projects simultaneously, you will ensure all deadlines are met and maintain and update proposal content and templates to improve efficiency and consistency. Additionally, you will review and edit proposal content for clarity, grammar, and compliance with solicitation requirements. You will develop proposal strategies and win themes, conduct proposal review meetings and debriefs to continuously improve proposal processes, and provide mentorship and guidance to junior proposal team members. Lastly, you will ensure compliance with all federal procurement processes and contract types.About You

Minimum Qualifications:Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +3 yrs experience).
Typically 5+ years of related experience.
Certification: PMP.
Experience leading complex government agency or military proposal teams.
Demonstrated experience in various contract vehicles.
Demonstrated experience in understanding federal procurement processes and contract types.
Proven experience in proposal management and writing.
Strong project and process management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Advanced degree in Business, Communications, English, or a related field.
Extensive familiarity with government contracting and procurement processes.
Experience with proposal management software and tools.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Compensation:
Pay Range:
$113,652.00 - $156,271.50Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
