Job Summary:
The Data & Fortellis Project Manager will assist the Programs in coordinating and managing various projects aimed at managing Data load, Data migrations, ISV migration, Fee waivers, addressing challenges and enhancing our customer experience. This role involves organizing project activities, ensuring all phases are documented and completed on time and within scope. This role requires strong Data analysis skills, Experience with large datasets, Experience in using APIs, collaboration with multiple cross functional teams and partners and skills in developing and implementing plans that ensure smooth transitions during project phases. The Project Manager will serve as a liaison between the CDK, ISVs/Partners, cross functional departments and leadership, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist in planning, executing, and closing projects. Ensure all project phases are documented and completed to scope and on time.
- Change Planning and Implementation: Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth transitions during project phases. Identify potential risks and resistance points and develop strategies to address them.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between the CDK, ISVs/Partners, cross functional departments and leadership. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Task Management: Track project tasks, deadlines, and deliverables. Ensure team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze project data. Provide insights and recommendations to improve projects.
- Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports to the Data & Fortellis leadership and other stakeholders.
- Documentation: Create process documentation. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and meeting minutes.
- Support: Provide support to the Data & Fortellis Programs, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and preparing slides.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices in project management and customer experience.
- Maintain: Maintain a thorough understanding of CDK products, processes, and customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in project coordination or a similar role. Experience in APIs, Data Migration projects and stakeholder management (internal & external).
- Skills:
- Managing multiple priorities and balancing competing priorities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools a plus
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights a plus
- Experience in Postman, APIs
- Experience with Data Visualization using visualizations tools like Power BI and creating project plans.
