The Project Manager oversees a portfolio of projects (typically 1 to 3) from various clients. Serving as the primary point of contact, they play an strategic role ensuring client satisfaction while delivering projects on time, within scope, quality standards, and budget. They are actively involved throughout all project phases, from initial ideation to completion, and are also responsible for fostering team satisfaction and maintaining a positive working environment.
What are the main responsibilities of this role?
- Business: Understand client business as well as his product goals and project success metrics
- Project Constraints: Oversee all project phases to ensure timely, on-budget delivery while meeting quality standards.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Scope: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and teams.
- Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resourcing needs, and risk assessments.
- Monitoring: Oversee project progress, proactively addressing issues and implementing solutions to keep the project on track.Manage and communicate project status, updates, and performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Facilitate project kickoffs, milestone reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement inside the project and the PM team.
- Budget: Monitor and manage project budgets and forecasts, identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
- Growth: Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and client growth within projects.
Which skills and experience do we envision for this role?
- At least 5 years of software experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a project management role where you were responsible for delivering software, ideally websites and/or mobile apps.
- A minimum of 2 years in a software agency with client-facing experience
- Experience working with Agile software development
- Project Management tools expertise: JIRA, Slack, Preceden. AI PM tools are a plus.
- Excellent communication in English and Spanish
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Budget and Forecasting skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the drive to get things done
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in every task
- Excellent project planning, reporting, analysis, and documentation skills
