What you will do
The Delivery Manager is pivotal in overseeing the successful delivery of projects and services to our clients, focusing particularly on using Agile methodologies like Scrum. This role demands a hands-on approach to managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure client requirements are met with high-quality outcomes. Using tools like JIRA, the Delivery Manager facilitates effective project tracking and management, serving as the primary link between project teams and stakeholders to ensure clear and productive communication throughout the project lifecycle.
How will you do it
Oversee the delivery of multiple projects, managing all phases from initiation to completion using Scrum methodologies, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality.
Implement and refine delivery frameworks and methodologies, specifically focusing on Agile practices to enhance project execution.
Utilize JIRA to track and manage project progress, tasks, and milestones, ensuring transparency and effective communication across all project stakeholders.
Lead and inspire project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment and ensuring efficient task management and execution.
Conduct continuous risk assessments during projects, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to handle potential issues.
Facilitate post-project evaluations and feedback sessions to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
Help with communication on project successes and achieved milestones
What we look for
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Demonstrated experience as a Delivery Manager or similar role, with substantial expertise in managing projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Proficient in the use of JIRA and other project management tools to track project performance.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse and dynamic teams effectively.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification.
Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 certifications.
Prior experience in IT or a technology-related field.
Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to manage stress and multiple priorities efficiently.
