The Gas Power Senior Services Project Manager will manage complex aftermarket projects involving upgrades on one or more of the following: Industrial Heavy-Duty Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Generators.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the GEV representative and focal point for the customer on the project, owning the customer relationship for the project duration and driving customer issue resolution.
- Own project execution, including cross-functional coordination of engineering, procurement, shipping logistics, field/ outage execution and performance demonstration.
- Provide Project Leadership, effectively managing and facilitating cross-functional GEV teams to ensure on time delivery, contract deliverables fulfilment, and margin attainment/ enhancement.
- Understand and implement Contract Terms & Conditions.
- Manage project financials: price, cost, forecasts, margin, invoicing, and receivables. Manage project risk provisions and participate in Margin Reviews.
- Drive project schedule; work with Project Planner/Scheduler on schedule creation and management.
- Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle. Escalate risks and issues as needed for resolution.
- Actively manage project changes with the Customer and project team, following the change management process.
- Maintain Project Management system with current scope, schedule, financials, risks, etc. Maintain project documentation.
- Provide project status updates and lead Project Reviews as required.
- Capture and report project best practices/ lessons learned and Cost-of-Poor Quality cases.
- Follow CM&U Project Management processes.
- Leading by example with applying GEV Principles.
Required Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University, preferably in a technical or business degree.
- Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in either field engineering, commercial, engineering, sourcing, repair, power plant operation and maintenance or other adjacent role with Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Generators, Heat Recovery Steam Generators.
Other Eligibility Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to travel (~25%)
- Obtain Gas Power Services PMO Project Manager Qualification within 24 months of assignment including successful training, passing a review board, and obtaining the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- The 24-month timeline may be extended as needed to meet PMP experience requirements.
- Subsequently Maintaining PMO Project Manager Qualification status through ongoing training and recertification as required.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is Total Base Pay $132,200.00 - $220,400.00 USD Annual.
For Ontario Canada for the purposes of complying with Ontario pay transparency requirements the base pay range for Ontario/Canada is total base pay: $138,700.00 - $208,100.00 Cad dollars.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, geographic location, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a Variable Incentive performance bonus of 15% (VIC). This position will stay open on the career website until at least October 30th. 2025. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas of the USA.
