This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States except for the State of Alaska, North Dakota, or South Dakota.

Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned project manager to help lead and ensure the execution of global strategic initiatives at Blackhawk Network.

Reporting into the Sr Director of Program Management in the Transformation Office and working directly with the cross-functional leadership team, this key resource will provide the delivery framework for multiple large scale enterprise projects and workstreams with a focus on Transformation and Global Operations.

This leader will be skilled at aligning cross-functional team members at all levels of the organization on vision, scope, and implementation plans in collaboration with executive stakeholders.

They will be responsible for defining key deliverables, schedules, and budgets, and most critically, keeping stakeholders updated on status, blockers, and decisions needed throughout delivery.

This role is also responsible for ensuring adjacent process modeling and change management, as required, in collaboration with the business stakeholders and transformation team.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads cross-functional project teams to deliver results for key initiatives in-line with Blackhawk's organizational and strategic roadmap.
  • Facilitates end-to-end project management process, engaging all necessary stakeholders and team members and working in collaboration with business owners.
  • Ensures vision and objectives are clearly communicated to and met by the cross-functional team and drives definition of project scope
  • Organizes and manages team schedule through communication planning and appropriate project documentation (project plans, project charter, meeting agendas, overview documentation, tracking documents, meeting notes and other necessary items) to ensure team stays on track, timelines and goals are achieved.
  • Proactively manages and addresses risks and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with the business to ensure business readiness, assist in crafting change strategies, and transfer knowledge/ execute change strategy for any new process/system.
  • Manages & negotiates timelines, as well as tracks & communicates progress against documented plan to ensure overall objectives are met within scope, schedule & budget.
  • Builds relationships across organization to understand key business objectives, strategies and action.
  • Establishes cross-functional teams that include various departments, functions, companies and stakeholders both internal & external.
  • Manage multiple, parallel projects according to organizational need & strategic plan.
    • Plan, estimate and organize project implementation and execution
    • Conduct post implementation reviews to identify effectiveness/organizational satisfaction and lessons learned (retrospective).
    • Develop, maintain and fully communicate project plans.
    • Develop a quality control process to ensure that projects meet established objectives.
    • Plan for project contingencies and anticipate variations that may affect resources and successful implementation.
    • Identify areas of project risk and initiate corrective action when risks are triggered.
    • Track and drive project issues to resolution.
    • Manage conflicting objectives through communication and collaboration with business owners and management.
    • Determine plan, processes and documentation for ongoing maintenance of project deliverables after project completion.
    • Report project status and serve as the overall communication liaison for the project, escalating key risks, dependencies and challenges that need to be addressed and resolved.
    • Prepare and deliver executive reporting as required.
    • Responsible to manage change management and communication strategies for projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 10+ years proven success as a Project Manager
  • PMP or equivalent formal program management training
  • Product development, information technology, business and systems experience a plus
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent decision making and leadership capabilities
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Self-starter with a deep desire to learn and grow their over-arching business acumen
  • Proficient with project management software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Positive, enthusiastic, flexible, organized, detail and customer-oriented
  • Have experience developing operational processes
  • Experience in a high-tech or FinTech environment

Benefits:

Salary Range for all U.S. Residents (excluding Alaska, California, North Dakota, South Dakota): $120,400.00 to $172,000.00

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Blackhawk Network offers benefits including 401k with employer match, medical, dental, vision, 12 paid holidays throughout the year, sick pay accrual according to state law, parental leave, life insurance, disability insurance, accident and illness insurance, health and dependent care flexible spending accounts, wellness benefits, and flexible time off for all full-time employees.
