Responsibilities:
Experience: 5-8 Years
• Development and enhancements related to Point of Sale (POS)
• Understand and own the POS Processes and its Development and Optimise database performance and efficiency by evaluating and recommending new database technologies.
• Understand the impact of the POS Process in the downstream systems and work effectively with other IT teams for seamless flow of accurate data.
• Makes sure the DB jobs run seamlessly and keep a close watch on alerts including on time refreshes, scheduled jobs etc.
• Keep e2open and POS DB in sync with all related feed ins and feed outs. Work with and within e2open during planned maintenances and make sure feedout and feedins are processed.
• Execute regular database maintenance tasks, including database defragmentation, backups, and database replication.
• Support activities include Sales Rep assignment when Orders are unallocated, duplicate commission positions etc.
• Support users and developers by resolving data-related technical issues and troubleshooting queries by guiding them with best practices.
Skills Required:
• 5+ years of experience in IT
• Strong Experience in SQL (Oracle or ANSI SQL) Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
• 1-4 years of experience in Informatica Cloud or 2+ years or experience in power center (who is willing to learn Informatica Cloud)
• Strong experience in REST API and handling json/xml data
• Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools
• Ability to use a scripting language (like Python or Peri) to automate database administration tasks will be added advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to provide quick solutions to issues.
• Experience in SNOWFLAKE Datawarehouse is a plus.
