Job Description: Project Manager for MSI Projects : ELV, Security & ICT Systems
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager to lead and oversee MSI projects in the Central Region. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of projects focused on Low Current Solutions, information and communication technology (ICT) and security systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project documentation, including project charters, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
2. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead cross-functional project teams, including engineers, technicians, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review project status, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project goals.
3. Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, authorities, clients, and key project stakeholders.
- Regularly communicate project updates, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders.
- Address stakeholder concerns and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the Engineering and Delivery Teams to integrate systems and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
- Implement quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality systems and services.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, including technical, operational, and financial risks.
- Implement effective change management processes to handle scope changes and minimize project disruptions.
5. Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective utilization of resources.
- Monitor project expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and address budgetary constraints.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to source and manage necessary equipment, materials, and services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in managing ICT and security system projects.
- Strong knowledge of ELV, ICT infrastructure, security systems, and relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
