The Senior Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and assigning the activities of production workers, ensuring that production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and driving P&L results. This position supervises production operations within an assigned areas or during assigned shifts.

We are hiring 1st and 2nd shift positions - Apply now to be immediately considered! 

  • 1st Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm Monday to Friday
  • 2nd Shift: 3:30pm - 12:00am Monday to Friday

Pay: $60,000-$70,000 (depending on experience) + 10% Bonus, full benefits, 401(k) and paid time off

The Sr Production Supervisor will be responsible for the following: but not limited to:

  • Supervises workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to workers, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Responsible for meeting or surpassing daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations.
  • Deliver clear and concise information during shift transition meetings, ensuring the next shift is prepared for success.
  • Provide the next level of support for escalated issues during work shifts.
  • Maintain consistent production quality by monitoring departmental performance metrics.
  • Communicate effectively with management and customers to ensure SLAs are met and issues are promptly resolved.
  • Engages in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Assists in P&L forecasting and analysis, alongside labor planning and scheduling.
  • Prepare and administer daily performance feedback and reporting as required.
  • Coordinates the flow of work through the department and ensures that department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately.
  • Provide training, motivation, and support to employees regarding company and departmental procedures, development opportunities, and departmental processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
  • All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 4-5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a high volume production environment.
  • Capable problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities, demonstrating a strategic approach with a focus on achieving results and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating effective verbal and written
    communication.
  • Capacity to engage with customers in a professional manner.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • General knowledge of OSHA Standards.

Required Experience:

  • 5-7+ years supervisory/management experience in a high volume production environment required.
  • Technical degree or certification strongly preferred.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
  • Supervising temporary staff.
  • Experience working with UKG and Kronos.
  • Ability to develop and articulate a clear strategic vision.

Educational Requirements:

  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent years of hands-on experience.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Warehouse environment.
