Position Purpose and Summary:
As a Raw Material Production Analyst, you will work with the Production/Operations Manager on manufacturing strategies and set seasonal execution targets for the vendors in your region. You will have to liaise with Raw Material planning groups and Raw Material Development teams in understanding and meeting the consumer expectation from RM Vendors. You will work with multiple vendors to ensure on-time delivery of PO and manage a transparent delivery status to the customer. You will work with global and regional project groups to roll out new initiatives in the region. You would be required to work on continuous improvement projects with vendors to build them as sustainable partners in the region.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
As a Sr. Raw Material Production Analyst, you are responsible for managing the delivery of goods, data and documents from the multiple vendors that you work with. You would work with vendors on a seasonal capacity. Based on demand fluctuation, you would be required to find solution to meet the customer expected delivery.
You would work with vendors in working a process flow which best suits Columbia order execution. Internal reviews, Trainings and re-enforcement meetings would be required to ensure the process stands test of time.
You would be required to work extensively with Global and Regional Raw Material Planning and Regional Raw Material Development to understand the customer requirement and continuously update them on the progress of orders.
Use global tools and reporting systems to have a transparent seamless flow of information.
Time to time you would be required to work on global or regional projects which exemplifies the best practices in regions or integrates or enhances Columbia systems . You may be called upon to lead the rollout of these in the country or the region.
You would be call on to Blue print , test and rollout Supply chain projects in the region.
Customer Service to both internal and external customers would be a key focus.

- Season execution risk analysis
- Collaborate with regional Merchandising , Material and Quality teams to trouble shoot issues.
- Liaise with Finish Good Vendors to troubleshoot.

Minimum Educational/Experience Requirements/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or textiles or a minimum of 7 years of work experience in manufacturing
- MS Excel
- Ability to communicate extensively with global teams.
- Analytical skills
- Prior experience in Project management or Process management would be beneficial..

Reporting Line and Supervisory Responsibility:
Raw Material Production Analyst (P3) position reports to the Operations Manager/ Director.
The role gives significant freedom to the person to set objective and progressive goals during trek conversation with the manager and work on execution strategy.
This role currently has no supervisory responsibility.

Predominantly there are 3 sets of contacts for Raw Material Production Analyst.
LO team consisting of Garment Merchandising, Raw Material Material , Quality and Support teams apart from Finished Goods Production team.
Vendors consisting of Finished Goods and Raw material vendors.
Global Raw Material Planning team who caters to various regions.
You many need to communicate over e-mail , phone , webex to each of the teams as per the relevance and urgency of the context.

Job Conditions:
May be required to work in excess of 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week during peak season or when travelling. Pressure exists when facing deadlines. International travel may be required. There would be exposure to long hours in front of computer CRT.
