Sr Product Owner

HERE is looking for Sr. Product Owner to join its fast-growing and highly motivated DevOps Productivity Tools & Services team. The DevOps Productivity Tools team is responsible for development and support of tools & services to enhance developer experience and increase efficiency of Here products customer support. These tools & services are critical and should meet demanding compliance, security, performance, and uptime requirements.

As a Sr. Product Owner, you'll have the opportunity to work on amazing products with cross-functional exposure to various Here product and internal teams. This team is responsible for development of number of products for onboarding Here offerings to Here platform, analytics & debugging tools for customer support enablement & Software Catalog and dashboard products for Here developers. Your role involves working closely with the teams and customer stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities  

• Define and drive product vision and strategy in alignment with business goals, ensuring a clear product roadmap that delivers customer and stakeholder value.

• Act as the voice of the customer, translating business needs into clear product requirements and user stories for development teams.

• Own and manage the product backlog, including prioritization based on business value, stakeholder input, technical constraints, and market dynamics.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, product management and support to ensure successful product delivery and adoption.

• Lead sprint planning, reviews, and backlog grooming sessions, ensuring continuous delivery of product improvements.

• Analyze data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform product decisions and validate assumptions.

• Develop and communicate product KPIs and success metrics, tracking performance and iterating based on insights.

• Ensure alignment with stakeholders, regularly communicating product plans, progress, and changes.

• Constantly improve working practices and team productivity

• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, bringing innovative thinking to the product roadmap.

• 10 or more years’ of relevant professional experience in the tech/software industry, ideally in a technical role

• Advanced analytical skills that can be applied to complex, technical problems

• Experience with data driven decision making

• Knowledge and/or understanding of Developer productivity tools and practices preferred

• Excellent oral and written communication skills to provide fact-based recommendations

• BA/BS or MA/MS in Engineering or Business or related field

• Ability to use hard data and metrics to help improve product development velocity and effectiveness

• Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve goals set and projects on tight deadlines

• Understanding of technical systems and architecture

• Experience shaping Agile environments

• Demonstrated history of strong customer focus and empathy

• Demonstrated ability of translating business requirements into specifications/epics/stories

• Strong influencing skills

• Self-starter and comfortable in a changing environment
