The purpose of the Sr Product Owner – Analytics and Reconciliation is:

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Product Owner to drive the next generation of payment analytics, reconciliation, and data capabilities within our payment orchestration platform. In this highly impactful role, you will shape a data‑centric product vision that empowers merchants with deeper transaction insights, streamlined financial operations, and reliable, automated reconciliation across a complex payment’s ecosystem.

You will partner closely with engineering, data, and business stakeholders to translate market and customer needs into a clear strategic direction and a well‑defined roadmap. You are accountable for managing the Product Backlog, including adding/removing/grooming items, and defining their priorities, being part of all agile ceremonies and add your value as owner of the product.

Your expertise in payments, financial data flows, and analytical tooling will enable you to guide agile teams toward building high‑quality features that are scalable, transparent, and aligned with industry best practices.

As a senior leader within the product organization, you will champion product excellence, elevate delivery standards and help mature our product culture and ways of working. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of payments, data, and product strategy, and who is motivated by creating meaningful value for global merchants through intelligent, reliable, and insight‑driven payment technology.

A typical day at ACI for an Sr Product Owner is:

Product Strategy

• Define and drive the product strategy for Payment Analytics and Reconciliation
• Own and evolve the product roadmap to maximize customer value, adoption, and commercial impact
• Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and Product Delivery to build advanced analytics, predictive insights, and GenAI-driven capabilities
• Translate market trends, customer feedback, and business objectives into actionable product initiatives
• Act as Product Owner for one or more agile teams, ensuring clear acceptance criteria aligned to desired outcomes and value
• Own and manage the product backlog, including prioritization, refinement, and dependency management
• Ensure seamless customer onboarding and integration for analytics and reconciliation capabilities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and strategic partners  

Strategic Thinking: 

• Anticipate market and industry trends within payments and analytics
• Contribute to long-term product vision and strategy
• Translate strategic objectives into executable delivery plans 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience and Experience needed to succeed in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in business, technology, or related field. 
• 8+ years’ experience in the relevant field - payments, fintech, or e-commerce with product leadership and commercial leadership is a plus.
• Deep understanding of both merchant payments and banking payment ecosystems related to payment lifecycle: e.g authorization flows, routing logic, reconciliation and settlement
• Strong analytical fluency; ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives and actionable strategies 
• Outstanding communication; proven ability to build credibility with clients and stakeholders
