The Federal Reserve Bank is looking for an experienced, motivated, and innovative Sr. Product Manager who is passionate about leading important enterprise integration technology. This role will be a member of the National Integration Services (NIS) team and part of the Information Technology Services (ITS) department of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (FRBSF) and partner closely with the NIT Middleware team. This role manages technology that provides the messaging capabilities required to securely exchange messages between internal Federal Reserve applications and externally with depository institutions and other partners.
This role will be responsible for managing technical and highly visible integration product across multiple teams, departments, and stakeholders.
Essential Responsibilities

Partner with Product Line Managers, Product Managers, stakeholders, vendors, and internal business areas, to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization

Collaborates with services partners, internal business areas, and Product Line Manager to develop roadmaps and delivery of products and features

Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology

Responsible for technical outcomes of an agile information technology infrastructure support squad leveraging kanban

Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks

Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria

Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders

Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment

Attends recurring change review and approval meetings

Coordinates with dedicated people leaders on squad member onboarding/offboarding, performance, development, and other personnel needs
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in management, Communications, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
-
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver on tight deadlines
-
7+ years delivering and managing technical products and with a customer first approach

Highly organized with superior communication and coordination skills

Ability to coordinate and work with diverse groups of subject matter experts

Self-starter, with a high personal standard of performance excellence

Understanding of Product, Project and Program Management standard processes and proven track record in working with cross-functional teams

Proven ability to work effectively independently or in a team environment

Strong analytical, collaboration, leadership, critical thinking, multitasking, and time management skills

Ability to influence successfully in a highly matrixed or virtual organization

Experience with product and project management tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence, etc.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card holder with the intent to become a U.S. Citizen
Base Salary Range for Sr, Product Manager: Min: $138,900 - Mid: $180,400 - Max: $221,900 (Location: San Francisco)
Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
