JOB OVERVIEW

As a Wheels Sr. Product Manager, you will play an integral and strategic role. You will optimize your product line to ensure customer satisfaction while also maximizing return on investment. You will manage products that continue to drive today’s business success while developing new or enhanced products that will ensure future market success. This includes managing products throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with Account Teams, Finance, Operations and IT. It also includes working with Sales and Marketing to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Product Planning and Management

• Determine and articulate product vision and specifications

• Lead the development of client and driver journeys

• Determine long term strategy and create product line roadmap

• Develop recommendations

• Research and Analysis

• Research and analyze market conditions

• Ongoing visits with customers and prospects

• Identify key client and competitor trends

• Identify opportunities for product enhancements or new products

• Articulate market requirements

• Product Development

• Articulate product plan and rationale via business cases and gain peer / senior management buyoff

• Develop well-thought-out project request documents (PRDs)

• Communicate initial product requirements and evaluate trade-offs based on ROI

• Manage and communicate with cross-functional teams including Account Management, Operations, UX, Development and QA

• Product Marketing

• Support Sales and Account Teams with product knowledge and technical expertise

• Develop sales tools, training materials and marketing collateral

• Customer and End-User Support

• Manage product-related support, feedback and inquiries from account team and/or customers

• Use market feedback to inform product refinements and ongoing development

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

• No direct leadership responsibilities but will be working closely with the rest of the team to manage ordering projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Five (5)+ years of experience in B2B technical/software product management

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology or business field

• MBA a plus

• Demonstrated ability gathering B2B user requirements and analyzing tradeoffs necessary to profitably meet market needs

• Experience developing product vision, business cases and roadmaps that led to successful product growth and profitability

• Experience bringing new products and/or enhancements to market – from ideation to development to market implementation

• Understanding of software development methodology and experience participating in key milestones (e.g., requirements definition, UX, QA, UAT)

• Experience working with Agile development and scrum teams is a plus

JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Positions Type/Standard Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.

Travel: Travel is not expected for this position.

Physical Demands: Sitting for Extended Periods: The ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods is essential for this role. • Keyboarding and Mouse Use: Proficient use of a computer, including keyboarding and mouse manipulation, is required.
