About the RoleWe are looking for a Sr Product Manager to drive key metrics and outcomes within the Personal Loans product. This role focuses on owning specific problem spaces and performance goals across the Personal Loan experience, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, ship high-impact solutions, and continuously improve results. You will apply strong product judgment, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder leadership to deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.What You'll Do
Product Strategy & Execution
Partner with product leadership to define and evolve strategy for owned Personal Loan problem areas and performance goals.
Translate business objectives and customer insights into a clear, outcome-oriented roadmap for owned initiatives.
Lead cross-functional execution from discovery through launch and iteration, with clear accountability for results.
Customer-Centric Problem Solving
Develop a deep understanding of member needs and pain points using qualitative and quantitative research.
Use experimentation, data analysis, and user insights to validate problems, test solutions, and inform prioritization.
Identify and reduce friction in owned areas of the Personal Loan journey to improve member experience and conversion.
Metrics & Impact
Own and drive specific success metrics for Personal Loans, ensuring strong instrumentation and clear accountability for outcomes.
Prioritize work based on expected customer benefit, business impact, and feasibility.
Deliver measurable improvements across metrics such as conversion, engagement, and funnel performance.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, analytics, risk, compliance, operations, and marketing partners.
Influence technical and operational decisions to support product goals and long-term scalability.
Communicate product direction, tradeoffs, and performance clearly to stakeholders at multiple levels.
- 6+ years of product management experience, with ownership of customer-facing and data-driven products.
- Demonstrated ability to drive outcomes through strong product discovery, prioritization, and execution.
- Experience working within regulated environments and balancing customer experience with business and risk considerations.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort partnering closely with analytics or using data to inform decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Experience in fintech, lending, or financial services.
- Familiarity with personal loan origination, underwriting, credit decisioning, fraud/KYC, or funnel optimization.
- Proven ability to lead complex initiatives, influence without authority, and drive alignment across stakeholders.

The above locations are eligible offices for this role. The locations have been determined to foster in-person collaboration with this role’s team or the related business lines. We utilize a hybrid work model, and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. In-person attendance is essential for this role’s success, and remote placement will not be considered. LendingClub offers relocation, based on actual job level.

While the position will primarily work local hours, LendingClub is headquartered in Pacific Time and our ideal candidate will be flexible working across time zones when necessary.

Compensation
The target base salary range for this position is 175,000-200,000. The base salary of the role will be determined by job-related knowledge, experience, education, skills, and location. Base salary is just one part of LendingClub’s Total Rewards package. You may also be eligible for long-term awards (equity) and an annual bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings).
