Why Join Omnicell?

At Omnicell, we are transforming the future of medication management and specialty pharmacy. As a Senior Product Manager – Specialty Pharmacy, you will play a mission‑critical role in building our next‑generation, technology‑first specialty pharmacy platform on OmniSphere. You’ll collaborate with a cross‑functional ecosystem of engineers, clinicians, designers, operators, data scientists, and commercial teams to solve complex challenges that directly impact patient access, health system performance, and pharmacy growth.

This is a unique opportunity to shape a rapidly scaling business, influence enterprise‑wide strategy, and deliver meaningful innovation for health systems, pharmacists, prescribers, and the patients they serve.

What You’ll Do

As the Senior Product Manager – Specialty Pharmacy, you will drive the product vision, strategy, and execution of a configurable SaaS platform that enables health systems to build and optimize their specialty pharmacy operations.

Primary Impact: You will accelerate health system autonomy by delivering a modular, automated, and scalable platform that improves patient access, operational efficiency, and margin performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and define the long‑term product strategy and roadmap for Omnicell’s Specialty Pharmacy platform, grounded in market trends, regulatory shifts, competitive intelligence, and deep customer research.
  • Transform the current managed service offering into a modular, configurable SaaS platform on OmniSphere that scales efficiently across health systems.
  • Lead cross‑functional development with Engineering, UX, Clinical, Operations, Data Science, Sales, and Marketing to ensure high‑quality delivery, launch readiness, and continuous alignment across the business.
  • Engage directly with customers—including health system leaders, pharmacists, and prescribers—to uncover unmet needs, validate assumptions, conduct workflow observations, and shape product direction.
  • Drive rigorous prioritization, balancing customer value, strategic relevance, technical considerations, innovation, and technical debt.
  • Develop clear value propositions, product positioning, and pricing insights to support go‑to‑market activation and commercial success.
  • Ensure regulatory, clinical, and operational compliance, collaborating closely with internal subject matter experts.
  • Monitor performance and adoption, identifying opportunities to accelerate time‑to‑value, reduce costs, and strengthen customer satisfaction.

Who You Are

You are a strategic, data‑driven product leader with the ability to translate complex workflows into elegant product solutions and influence across diverse stakeholder groups.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience delivering complex technology solutions (SaaS, platforms, workflow systems, or health IT).
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy, pharmacy operations, care management, health system solutions, or medical benefit / claims workflows.
  • Strong understanding of specialty pharmacy workflows (e.g., benefits verification, prior authorization, HUB services, payer engagement).
  • Proven ability to translate user workflows and business models into structured platform capabilities and modular architecture.
  • Demonstrated success leading products from concept through launch in fast‑paced environments.
  • Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical skills and comfort defining metrics and interpreting insights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with platform or modular ecosystem architectures.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7), EHR integrations, or pharmacy systems.
  • Experience managing regulated healthcare products or working in health system environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, pharmacy, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, MS) a plus.
  • Customer‑facing experience in product, consulting, implementation, or technical roles.
  • Proficiency with modern product management and AI-enabled prototyping tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Figma AI, Builder.io).

How You’ll Elevate at Omnicell

At Omnicell, success is not only about what you achieve—it’s about how you achieve it. As a Senior Product Manager, you will embody our Elevate Behaviors every day:

  • Collaborate – Build cross-functional alignment with engineering, clinical, design, operations, and commercial teams to deliver cohesive, customer‑centered solutions.
