PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $156,200.00-$190,800.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $121,200.00 - $225,800.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

As a Sr Product Manager – Origination, you’ll shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap for critical origination capabilities that help deliver exceptional experiences for BECU members. You’ll serve as a strategic bridge between business product leaders, product owners, and technology teams, ensuring priorities, roadmaps, and delivery efforts remain aligned across multiple products and initiatives. Working across complex lending and deposit ecosystems, you’ll leverage data, member insights, and market trends to drive innovation, optimize performance, and influence key business outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for one or more complex products, systems, and applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and member needs.
  • Growth & Acquisition Leadership: Design and implement strategies that drive member acquisition, new business growth, and long-term product success.
  • Business Performance Management: Define, manage, and monitor key performance indicators, including NPS, P&L performance, cost allocations, campaign effectiveness, and financial projections to achieve business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with teams across Credit Risk, Compliance, Finance, Product, and Technology to ensure successful product outcomes.
  • Roadmap Alignment: Partner with business product leaders, product owners, and delivery teams to align priorities, shape roadmaps, and drive cohesive execution across products and initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends, uncover member behaviors, measure success, and surface opportunities for improvement.
  • Member-Centered Innovation: Bring the voice of the member into product discussions, strategy development, and decision-making to ensure solutions deliver meaningful value.
  • Strategic Influence: Guide complex product decisions within the context of broader business objectives, balancing strategic priorities, member experience, risk considerations, and technical feasibility.
  • Product Development Leadership: Oversee the flow of research, concept development, UX design, and delivery activities that improve assigned capabilities and experiences.
  • Release & Prioritization Management: Manage release goals, priorities, and dependencies across multiple products, systems, and applications.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish, track, and evaluate product and application performance metrics to measure effectiveness and business impact.
  • Continuous Improvement: Capture insights, lessons learned, and evolving market needs to continuously refine product vision, priorities, and roadmaps.
  • Agile Product Delivery: Work closely with engineering and delivery teams in Agile environments, helping manage backlogs, roadmap planning, stakeholder alignment, and value delivery.
  • Additional Contributions: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support team and organizational objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technology, business, or related discipline required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 7 years of product management, product development or product or equivalent experience with platform technology. Experience working in an agile environment preferred.
  • Previous experience overseeing all elements of the product development life cycle required.
  • Experience in managing highly effective cross-functional teams required.
  • Previous experience understanding and determining product strategies based on the voice of the customer required.
  • Experience managing and maintaining vendor relationships required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Self-directed and able to proactively identify business and customer needs and opportunities, overcome barriers, influence, and formulate solutions with minimal supervision preferred.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills required.
