The Role
Cedar is looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the growth and evolution of our core patient billing product that streamlines medical bill resolution through personalization and design. Your work will directly impact millions of patients by simplifying healthcare billing, reducing stress, and enhancing financial clarity. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with direct exposure to executive leadership, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of healthcare payments.
Responsibilities
- Drive product strategy by identifying key user and market problems through client engagement, desk research, and data insights
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and data science to develop and execute a roadmap aligned with Cedar's strategic goals
- Partner with data science to build predictive models and intelligent tools, such as personalization engines and recommendation systems that improve the patient experience and drive conversion
- Define and track KPIs across the entire patient funnel; analyze friction points, conduct A/B tests, and lead initiatives to improve engagement and outcomes
- Define go-to-market strategies in partnership with Commercial to ensure successful product delivery and customer value
- Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Delivery, Legal, and other internal teams to align priorities and drive impact
- Develop and share thought leadership around your product area and the broader healthcare payments space
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of product management experience in a rapid-growth startup environment
- Proven ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems through experimentation, user insights, and limited data
- Demonstrated track record of delivering customer-facing software products in collaboration with engineering and design teams
- Experience partnering with data science to develop AI/ML-powered features such as personalization, recommendation systems, or predictive models
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience using A/B testing, funnel analytics, and user behavior data to guide product decisions
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with experience working across internal and external stakeholders
- Prior experience in a B2B2C environment and working with enterprise clients
Bonus Qualifications
- Technical background in product-related software engineering
- Familiarity with the healthcare ecosystem, including providers, payers, and healthcare technology companies
Compensation Range and Benefits
- Salary Range*: $164,050 - $205,000
- This role is equity eligible
