Job Summary
This position is responsible for the development, management and execution of group benefits product enhancements and product development associated with a particular product line (group long and short-term disability, group life and/or group dental or future group ancillary product lines).
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree and 6 years of combined experience in the majority of functional areas including group benefits underwriting, product compliance, product development, marketing analysis, within the insurance industry OR 10 years of group benefits underwriting, product compliance, product development or marketing analysis experience in lieu of a degree.
* PC skills to include Excel, Access, and Word.
* Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience developing, guiding, or providing on-the-job training to staff.
* Experience delivering presentations independently to external clients.
* Knowledge of sales distribution activities.
* Experience with development of products from inception to launch, and product introduction and monitoring for success or need for reengineering.
* Sales and marketing techniques, knowledge of marketplace and competition, and underwriting knowledge.
* Experience recommending and creating management strategies for product line that includes underwriting guidelines, renewal guidelines and assisting in pricing strategy development.
* Management of external vendor relationships to support a product.
* Ability to autonomously manage complex corporate projects.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in business, Mathematics or Insurance.

The salary offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range$88,700.00 - $160,200.00
