What you’ll do:
As a Senior Product Development Engineer, Electronics, you will be part of a globally distributed engineering team, collaborating with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners to develop and maintain best-in-class electronic solutions for home appliances across the Latin American market. If you are analytical, collaborative, passionate about emerging technologies, and eager to apply your creativity to solve real-world challenges, this is your opportunity.
In detail, you will:
- Develop electronic solutions, from system architecture to hardware and firmware modules, delivering innovative consumer benefits and best-in-class user experiences across products, accessories, and digital platforms.
- Support business continuity by ensuring the quality, availability, and reliability of electronic boards.
- Apply and promote a consistent electronics development methodology across the organization.
- Ensure all solutions comply with applicable safety standards and regulations.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in home appliances, bringing innovative practices and solutions to the company.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI).
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience designing embedded electronic systems, with solid knowledge of systems engineering, hardware, and firmware development within a V-model development framework.
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jama).
- Experience using hardware design CAD tools (e.g., OrCAD).
- Experience in firmware development and version control/repository tools (e.g., GitHub).
- Experience planning and executing validation testing across multiple levels, including EMC compliance testing.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations applicable to consumer appliances (e.g., IEC standards).
- Advanced English proficiency.

You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant in Curitiba. One of the focal points for all Latin American Electrolux operations, this plant is the base for over 3200 collaborators, all focused on transforming the way the world lives by shaping lives for the better with their work.
