Job Description Summary

This position leads and manages client sourcing and contract administration across multiple accounts in facility management services. This position is highly visible within internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Procurement relationship with Client, C&W Account Management, C&W Procurement Category Management, C&W Risk, C&W Legal, Suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Analyze account-wide facility management services spend, suppliers, operations and statement of works to identify opportunities for value creation. Develop and implement a procurement strategy based on the identified opportunities.  
  • Develop and facilitate multiple eRFPs, analyze responses, negotiate and use other techniques as required to obtain the expected results.
  • Provide evaluation and recommendation to Account Management.
  • Interpret contracts, negotiate with vendors and ensure appropriate contractual records retention.
  • Implement programs and initiatives to ensure achievement of all goals, metrics & KPIs. 
  • Advise management regarding contractual matters and engage in effective use of Legal and Risk Departments.
  • Maintain organized records to ensure any implemented system of checks and balances are being continually met for service contracts and additional compliance items.
  • Maintain organized records and establish tracking to manage the workflow of multiple concurrent sourcing events.
  • Employ C&W best practices, policies, processes, tools and templates to include both C&W Corporate and Client account specifications, as well as engaging with Category Managers and preferred suppliers in the execution of Procurement responsibilities.
  • Participate at appropriate level and frequency in all meetings.
  • Generate and distribute all necessary and requested reports.
  • Resolve issues from the client with respect to supplier performance and quality of service
  • Manage the development, installation, and maintenance of tracking & reporting mechanisms that yield the appropriate outputs and conform to requested forms and frequencies. 
  • Perform other miscellaneous related duties as assigned
  • Lead and manage a Procurement Analyst direct report who will support you in your responsibilities.

Key Competencies:

  • Understanding of the Strategic Sourcing processes and demonstrated proficiency with e-tools such as e-RFPs, reverse auctions, e-catalogs, and contract management systems
  • Must possess legal knowledge, ability to prepare/negotiate agreements and amendments, and the ability to explain to client the specifics of the contracts.
  • Must possess analytical and quantitative skills with ability to analyze and interpret information, data and related documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
  • Self-motivated and work independently to find solutions
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Strong organization skills with the flexibility to handle multiple tasks

Important Experience:

  • 7+ years’ experience in Procurement/Strategic Sourcing, ideally in facility services or related discipline. 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is required
  • MBA or related Master Degree preferred

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 157,250.00 - $185,000.00
