What You’ll Be Doing

As a Sr. Privacy Analyst, you’ll be responsible for fully investigating and identifying root cause analysis for all Privacy issues, PIPEDA and individual rights requests. You’ll oversee the compliance of corporate policies and procedures; assist with detailed investigations and provide advice in the implementation of changes. You’ll also review and advise on the adequacy and effectiveness of controls and processes for both compliance and risk management. This role requires a keen understanding of privacy laws, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Strong Investigative Skills: Approach each request with a meticulous eye, ensuring thorough and accurate investigations. Develop a systematic process for reviewing requests, identifying potential issues, and formulating clear recommendations. 

  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in order to execute and establish service level standards. Partner with Privacy groups within the organization to develop and implement changes. 

  • Privacy Advisor: Create awareness and educate the groups supported by Business Controls on changes to privacy policies, processes and new initiatives. Develop responses and recommendations for use by management, consultants and others as it relates to privacy and executive issues. 

  • Deep Understanding of Privacy: Stay informed about the latest developments in privacy regulation and industry best practices. Utilize this knowledge to ensure compliance and guide stakeholders in navigating complex privacy issues 

  • Risk Mitigation- Look over business requirements and consult on initiatives that identify, manage and mitigate privacy risks. Develop processes and communications to groups supported by Business Controls in avoidance of issues. 

  • Attention to Detail: Precision in Documentation, maintain meticulous records of investigations, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date to facilitate audits and reviews. Implement methodologies to ensure all requests are handled consistently and thoroughly
