Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector (NGDS) is currently seeking a Sr. Principal Project Manager to join our physical security team
This position is a multifaceted Enterprise physical security and converged network security specialist role for bridging the gap between IT infrastructure and physical facility protection. The successful candidate should have extensive hands-on experience with physical security systems and thrive to take on diverse assignments and possess the ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions to complex problems and have extensive familiarity with modern physical access control systems (PACS) and video management software (VMS) acting as a primary responder for security incidents and root cause analysis.
Requirements:
Have Project Management experience – At least (minimum) of 7 years. Not necessarily directly related to IDS/PACS/Video systems
Have a thorough understanding and demonstrate 10 years of knowledge executing the deployment of security and management of security device subnets and firewall rules.
Within 10 years (Preferred), at least (minimum) 5 years’ experience installing server and client software with a demonstrated understanding of system operational and maintenance requirements to include: licensing, software and firmware updates, virtual ports used for data transmission between system components, bandwidth/storage calculation, and system hardening best practices.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 14 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered +10 years of relevant experience with bachelor’s degree or master’s degree +8 years of relevant experience
Have a thorough understanding and demonstrate knowledge executing the deployment of security and network equipment following approved topology, design of supporting infrastructure and troubleshooting of integrated physical security systems
Physical Security expert to oversee enterprise-wide Access Control, IDS, and Video Systems. In this role, you will handle system design, programming, IT integration and management of security device subnets and firewall rules to maintain a secure network infrastructure
Proven track record of serving as the primary incident responder, executing detailed root cause analyses, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive risk-mitigation solutions
Project Manager with deep expertise in full-lifecycle project execution and with a structured approach to site-level risk assessment and countermeasure implementation
Must have the ability to lead and manage projects related to Lenel OnGuard, Digital Monitoring Product (DMP), AXIS, ExacqVision and Milestone
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within critical deadlines.
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning and presentation skills are required
Demonstrated ability to build and foster effective relationships with others Knowledgeable in ICD 705, NISPOM and applicable UL standards
