Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Sr. Principal Project Manager (Program Coordinator / Portfolio Integration Lead) position that will report to the Integrated Missions Portfolio Director. The Integrated Missions portfolio is a rapidly growing portfolio of programs and pursuits within the Rapid Innovation Operation Unit in the Space Superiority Division focused on delivering critical systems for national security. This position manages the portfolio-level cadence and operational affairs within the portfolio leadership team. The selected candidate will guide opportunities for collaboration between the individual Program Managers and their teams.

This role will be responsible for managing the portfolio operating cadence including but not limited to; managing an integrated portfolio schedule, gathering and reporting staffing needs, managing capital and infrastructure needs across the portfolio, facilitating/coordinating major customer reviews/visits, setting up meetings for Directors and PMs, taking notes, documenting actions, collecting inputs to close actions, building reports, identifying trending data, standardizing processes/templates and leading special projects. This role is expected to partner across all functional groups and will have insight into all aspects of the business to include financials, program execution, staffing, reporting, and strategy.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience, or Master’s Degree and 6 years of experience. In lieu of a degree, 12+ years of applicable experience will be considered.

  • Active TS clearance at time of application

  • Demonstrated experience working across multiple functions of the organization leading complex projects in support of organizational goals / objectives.

  • Technologically savvy with tools such as Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, etc. to drive efficient collaboration and productivity. 

  • Proficient in workforce planning management, including tracking staffing requirements based on business needs and organizational goals.

  • Experience in generating electronic content that effectively communicates organizational messages and brand identity. 

  • Experience in facilitating employee engagement, team-building activities that increase collaboration and morale.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.

  • Experience working with senior executives.

  • High energy, strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to operate at both a strategic and a hands-on level, as needed.

  • Experience processing large amounts of information, synthesizing, and integrating to meet various leadership team needs.

Primary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $146,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
