Senior BI Developer

Location: Dallas TX – 3days onsite

Job Description:

· Experience developing reports and dashboard with Enterprise BI Tools

· Experience in building BI solutions and knowledge of data analysis techniques and best practices

· Working experience with MSBI tools and modelling skills

· Well versed in writing DAX queries and tabular models

· Adept in developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.

· Designing data solutions that align with business goals

· Analyse datasets to uncover trends, maintain data accuracy within BI systems

· Ensuring the quality and reliability of data along with data security

· Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop

· Advanced SQL writing skills, strong understanding of relational and dimensional data models

· Extensive knowledge in various reporting objects and it include Facts, Attributes, Hierarchies,

· Transformations, filters, prompts, Calculated fields, Sets, Groups, Parameters, Graphs, Forecast etc., in Power BI

· Extensive knowledge in using action filters

· Design and build interactive, user-friendly Power BI dashboards that provide valuable business insights.

· Good Statistical and Analytical knowledge.

· Excellent analytical, organization, prioritization and oral/written communication skills.

· Analyze the existing system and develop detailed technical and functional documentation.

· Ensure proper documentation for all new processes and system changes.

· Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

· Serve as a bridge between business users and technical teams to gather, clarify, and define BI requirements.

· Overhaul the look and feel of existing dashboards to enhance user experience and align with business goals.

· Transition existing manual BI processes to automated solutions using best practices and BI tools.

· Implement best practices in data visualization to present complex data in a clear and actionable way.

· Work closely with the business, architects, and other stakeholders to continuously improve reporting and BI capabilities.
