You will sit within a business unit and partner with senior HR People leaders to interpret business requirements.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Support and partner with the Sr. People Lead DACH on the definition and execution of the local people strategy as well as global and local policy and change initiatives and understand the impact of the changes planned.
- Partner with function leads and middle managers to collaborate on creating and delivering the functional priorities and plan, providing strategic guidance.
- Leverage data analytics in driving business solutions and decisions and support with the delivery of operational processes and leverage insights and data and translate into actionable plans to impact the bottom line and enable business strategy. Inform and update People Services of any local, legal and regulatory changes in market.
- Lead and advise on talent management practices within DE Commercial related to workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy planning, leadership development, employee development, career and succession planning including strategic talent reviews and talent mobility.
- Build end-to-end capabilities that accelerate consumer-centric growth and operational excellence.
- Consult on overhead management.
- In partnership with Labor Relations Director, manage works council relations and provide guidance to stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of labor policies and compliance with laws and agreements.
- Lead, coach and develop direct reports, promoting performance improvement, skills development and the achievement of individual and team results and the creation of a high-performing people team.
- DACH Talent Management: Partner with senior leadership in the business on setting and aligning holistic talent management strategy and developing talent and succession plans in accordance with DACH needs, advising, coaching and challenging leaders to drive workforce performance & KPIs.
- Coordinate with CoEs (Centers of Excellence) to design talent programs, processes, policies and procedures, guide CoEs with strategic direction on talent initiatives to ensure alignment and support of business unit strategies, support with setting guidelines for talent cycle and ensuring the talent cycle execution across the DACH business.
- Work with the Talent CoE to drive the diversity and inclusion agenda as part of the BU's integrated talent management strategy
- Partner with People Services to ensure that the integrated talent management strategy is operationalized, processes and standards are maintained and to understand opportunities for continuous improvement that will drive service improvement.
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
- University degree in human resources management, business administration, psychology, law or similar
- Strong HR background with in-depth knowledge of different HR areas
- min. 7 years managerial experience in large, multinational company needed
- Experience in negotiations with works councils and unions
- Broad generalist HR skills across a range of populations with increasing responsibility ideally within FMCG/CPG; preferred experience operating in international matrix organizations
- HR Business partnering experience and ability to develop strong partnerships with function leaders
- Ability to create a change strategy and lead complex and transformational change
- Ability to engage, inspire, and influence people
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, high solution & action-orientation, drive for results and acting at pace
- Future focused by thinking ahead and anticipating new opportunities, leverages an outside in perspective through understanding of market trends
- Fluency in German and English required
