Title:
Sr. Offshore EngineerKBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.
Responsible for design, specification and services related to structures and foundations made of concrete, steel, wood, or engineered products for structures, platforms, bridges, pipe racks, buildings, etc. Under general supervision, performs all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter. Devises new approaches to problems encountered. Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Responsibilities:
Leading the team of Engineers and designers, Coordinate with another Operating centers / Client. Execute the project within budgeted hours, meeting the project schedule with quality and Industry standards. Vendor drawings review, coordination with subcontractors.
Review of Mechanical, Electrical, piping drawing and Providing Observation (IDC).
Working on proposals, Manhour estimation, Resources planning to meet the schedule and presentation about the project to Management.
A wide range of experience of project phases from feasibility, conceptual, FEED to EPC is preferred.
Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Graduate Engineer + master’s degree preferable - Experience (13-15 year) minimum of 7 years related experience.
Should have sound knowledge in the analysis and design of Jacket/FPSO topsides.
Capable to independently perform and guide Jacket/Topside structures In-Service
and pre-service analyses: In place, Pushover, Fatigue, Loadout, Lift,
Transportation, Jack up, Float over, etc.
3 Software exposure in SACS & GRL WEAP, SESAM and Review of 3D model
by Navisworks
4 Experience that is preferred is provision of site/field supervision and technical
support
5 Good Communication Skills, Enthusiasm to learn new concepts and Adaptability
to relocate to different centers / countries
