Sr. NPI/NPD Engineer

Reporting to the Plant Manager you as a Senior NPI Engineer will be responsible to for managing the entire lifecycle of new product development, from initial concept through to production launch. The Senior Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to ensure successful product introduction and seamless transition to production.

About the job:

• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to define product specifications and requirements.

• Oversee the design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) aspects of new products.

• New Product Introduction - Develop and implement NPI processes, including pilot runs, process validation, and production ramp-up.

• Cross Functional - Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product launch.

• Process Improvement - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in NPD/NPI.

• Strong understanding of PCBA design, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.

• Proven experience in project management, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proficiency in using engineering software tools for design, simulation, and analysis (e.g., Altium Designer, AutoCAD).

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

• Familiarity with industry regulations, certification processes (e.g., ISO, UL).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About you:

• Bachelor or university degree in Engineering.

• English Fluency 90%.

• Two to five years of experience.

• Knowledge of engineering practices.

• Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred.

• Advanced knowledge in MS Office/ Autocad.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Strong communication skills.

• High attention to detail.

• Knowledge of line balancing, standard work, material flows Knowledge of core tools (PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA)

• Project management and administration.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, basic knowledge of the Six Sigma methodology.
