Main Responsibilities
- As a Software Engineer for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, in the John Deere Dealer Business System program, you will be a member of a delivery scrum team and work with multiple stakeholders to build and implement solutions that improve the capability, reliability, and efficiency of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) ERP. Expertise in all technologies indicated is strongly desired and will make you stand out from other candidates. Additionally, we are seeking a candidate with strong foundational knowledge with a desire to learn and grow your skills alongside your teammates.
- Major duties include:
- Convert business requirements into high-quality solutions with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps.
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders to continually demonstrate, refine, and improve our products.
- Operate within an Agile/Scrum team and participate in team Scrum events.
- Work alongside with Deere Product Manager and 3rd-party functional consultants to develop a deep understanding of the constantly evolving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations platform.
- Collaborate with scrum team, analyzing medium to high complexity requests and helping to formulate plans for execution (with minimum supervision).
- Provides production support of the system.
What Skills You Need
- 6+ years of Dynamics AX, D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) development experience, Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps.
- Experience working with software test automation techniques (Test Driven Development) and Unit Test Frameworks.
- Ability to analyze, translate, and define business requirements into technical solutions.
- Understanding of ERP tools and related business processes.
- Proven experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
- Ability to analyze and solve medium to high complexity application problems.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer (MB-500) certification or equivalent experience strongly desired.
- X++ development using extensions and custom service development in X++ is preferred.
- Previous experience with C# and/or .NET framework is strongly desired.
- Appetite for continuous learning and willingness/dedication to develop deep technical skills needed to further develop, transform, and modernize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain, and/or Commerce products, processes, and solutions.
- Previous experience working with Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps.
- Capable of collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to provide information technology solution.
- Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in a related career field.
