The Senior Network Engineer is a member of the Infrastructure team responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and support of enterprise network services across data centers, cloud environments, and corporate locations. This role partners with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, and Engineering teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable connectivity while supporting network modernization, operational excellence, and business growth.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:- Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network services across data centers, cloud-connected environments, and corporate locations.
- Administer and optimize routing, switching, firewall, wireless, VPN, and network connectivity technologies.
- Implement and support network infrastructure including Cisco, Palo Alto, SD-WAN, and cloud networking solutions.
- Manage data center networking platforms including Cisco Nexus, network segmentation, high availability, resiliency, and connectivity services.
- Support hybrid-cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and other cloud platforms utilizing technologies such as Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, VPN, and cloud exchange services.
- Monitor network performance, availability, capacity, and security while identifying opportunities for operational improvement.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues involving routing, switching, firewall, cloud connectivity, and application performance.
- Develop and maintain network documentation including diagrams, standards, IP addressing, circuit inventories, and operational procedures.
- Participate in infrastructure projects including network upgrades, migrations, cloud adoption initiatives, and modernization efforts.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Compliance, and Engineering teams while participating in on-call support and major incident response activities.
- Participation in a rotating on-call schedule to support critical network operations outside of business hours.
- Other tasks and activities as assigned.
Required Education/Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience within complex multi-site or hybrid-cloud environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise routing, switching, firewall administration, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting dynamic routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, route redistribution, failover design, and network resiliency.
- Experience with enterprise firewall platforms such as Palo Alto or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus, Cisco Catalyst, Juniper, Arista, or equivalent network infrastructure platforms.
- Experience supporting cloud networking and hybrid-cloud connectivity solutions across AWS and Azure environments.
- Experience implementing and supporting VPN, segmentation, NAT, secure-access, and remote-connectivity technologies.
- Experience with network automation, scripting, or Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible, Python, Terraform, or similar technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
