JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibility Level:
We are seeking a Network Service Operations Engineer to design, maintain, and support LAN, WAN, and network security infrastructures across regional and global environments. This role provides high-level technical support to our managed service partner, ensuring robust and scalable network performance. The ideal candidate will be proficient in advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, SDWAN, multilayer switches, network security devices, and network management systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents efficiently
- Serve as primary contact for business units and managed service partners
- Design, evaluate, and implement cost-effective, scalable, and secure global networking solutions
- Maintain network documentation, hardware/software standards, and configuration guidance
- Support LAN, WAN, Security, and Cloud initiatives
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 0–3 years in network engineering or related field
- Technical Knowledge:
- VLAN, MPLS, Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), DNS, DHCP, QoS, Proxy
- Cisco switching/routing, Nexus, ASA-X, wireless, ISE
- FortiGate Firewall, IPS, SDWAN, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer
- F5 APM/GSM/LTM/WAF
- Cloud Platforms: AWS and Azure experience preferred
- Tools: ServiceNow experience is a plus
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP or equivalent (preferred)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Soft Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and gather requirements
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent service delivery
