SUMMARY OF DUTIES

This position is responsible for managing, developing and executing marketing strategy, plans, and forecasts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1. Develops and executes marketing strategy, plans, and forecasts.
2. Performs market research functions--including the collection, dissemination, and analysis of industry, medical procedures, competitor information, and market trends and opportunities.
3. Identifies new markets and growth opportunities and develops strategic business plan.
4. Manage product portfolio, including price analysis, new product launches, campaigns, etc.
5. Work with marketing communications to develop collateral for campaigns in brochures and general print media.
6. May manage department employees by interviewing, hiring, coordinating work assignments, training, evaluating work, disciplining, and other related duties.
7. Answers product/market related questions from Sales Representatives.
8. Performs budgeting and other related duties, as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field and six years of marketing experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively and to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to prepare professional written and oral presentations and market analysis.
• Excellent market research skills and the ability to report research findings with high degree of validity and reliability.
 Worldwide/global marketing experience a plus.
