Betterment is a leading, technology-driven financial services company that offers investing, savings, and retirement solutions for retail investors and investment advisors, as well as financial wellness solutions, including a 401(k) for small and medium-sized businesses. Our team is passionate about our mission, to empower people to build wealth with confidence and ease. We’re headquartered in NYC and offer hybrid NY-based positions (four days / week in-office, with no required office days during the summer and winter holidays).

About the Role:

Betterment is seeking a resourceful B2B Sr. Marketing Associate to help execute growth strategies for our rapidly growing Betterment at Work business line.

Working closely with the broader Acquisition Marketing and Betterment at Work teams, you will own the day-to-day execution of campaigns and initiatives across email, social, and webinars that build brand awareness, generate leads, and nurture our pipeline of qualified prospects for our sales partners. This job may also be eligible for variable compensation in the form of a company incentive bonus.

A Day in the Life:

You will help run the day-to-day marketing execution engine to generate leads and pipeline for Betterment at Work, working across email, social, webinars, content, partnerships, and events.

  • Build, execute, and optimize email campaigns in our marketing automation platform, including audience segmentation and list management
  • Develop marketing copy across email, social, and web, spinning up initial drafts for review and ensuring a consistent brand voice
  • Manage creative asset development process, coordinating timelines and feedback across creative, compliance, and external partners
  • Support content marketing strategy across owned channels, distributing compelling content to grow inbound lead generation and support our enterprise sales team
  • Manage webinar execution in terms of logistics, promotion, platform setup, and post-event follow-up and lead handoff
  • Circulate regular updates on key reports and campaign performance
What We're Looking For:
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B or SaaS marketing with hands-on campaign execution across multiple channels
  • Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM platforms (HubSpot and Salesforce experience is a huge plus)
  • Working knowledge of B2B channel tactics—email nurture, webinars, partnerships, social, paid social, content marketing, and events
  • Strong writing and editing skills; able to independently draft email and social copy for review
  • Comfortable managing creative and compliance review workflows, including asset trafficking and approvals
