The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Manufacturing Technicians to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance across HVAC manufacturing operations. The role drives continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and capital investment projects (CAPEX) while ensuring operational excellence and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Manufacturing Technicians, providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance support.
Manage and execute CAPEX projects from concept through implementation, including justification, budgeting, equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, and ROI achievement.
Drive manufacturing efficiency improvements through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and automation initiatives.
Develop, improve, and standardize manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and capacity.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering changes, ensuring successful launches into production.
Analyze manufacturing metrics such as OEE, FPY, Scrap, Cycle Time, and Labor Productivity, implementing corrective actions to meet targets.
Coordinate equipment upgrades, machinery relocations, line transfers, and capacity expansion projects.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Supply Chain, and Product Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues and achieve plant objectives.
Ensure compliance with EHS, quality standards, and company manufacturing procedures.
Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities through process improvements, material savings, and productivity enhancements.

This position combines technical leadership, people management, continuous improvement, and CAPEX project execution to support world-class HVAC manufacturing operations. The responsibilities are consistent with HVAC manufacturing environments involving process improvement and CAPEX implementation

Root Cause Analysis (8D, A3, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram)
Process Design and Optimization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Skills Required

  • Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (Kaizen, 5S, VSM)
  • Six Sigma methodology experience

  • Process design and optimization expertise
  • CAPEX project management and execution (budgeting, procurement, commissioning, ROI)
