RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process Definition and Manufacturing Readiness with the following deliverables: Layout, Line Balance, Cell/Line Design, Material Presentation, Tooling and Fixturing, Process Documentation, Training and FPY
  • Equipment / Technology Selection and Capital Justification / Approval
  • Business Unit and Functional KPI’s tracking and performance: Scrap, Operation Supplies, Change Over, Standard Hrs
  • Cost Reduction Projects
  • Lean / Operational System Implementation within Business Unit: Standard Work, SMED, Poke-Yoke
  • Root Cause Analysis, Preventive and Corrective Actions Implementation
  • Safety & Ergonomics: Responsible to lead (in conjunction with functional team) Job Safety Analysis evaluation to detect, correct or mitigate safety risks and exposures
  • Training & Development: Operations Training on critical operations, process definition, routing structure
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement at least 1 improvement idea on a monthly basis – that impacts Cost, Quality or Safety
  • Layout – Responsible to define and control the layout and distribution of his business unit

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace or Automotive Engineering degree
  • +5 years of experience on Metal Mechanic Processes such as Punch Press, Bending, Forming, Welding, Brazing, Paint, Fastening, Assembly, Electronic or Harnesses processes.
  • MRP / ERP
  • Lean Manufacturing or Lean Practitioner
  • Six Sigma – Green Belt or higher desired
  • CAD fluent – Solidworks, Inventor, CATIA, ProE
  • Blueprint Reading – GD&T Desired
  • Core Tools
