The Role
Lead assembly NPI for inverter products from Phase 3–6: introduce and qualify machines/tooling, perform DFM and capacity studies, design and validate manufacturing processes, support fast ramp-up and problem solving, standardize processes and documentation, and drive inverter-specific process improvements (PCBA, soldering, testing, cleanliness, ESD). Collaborate with AME and suppliers to transfer processes and capture lessons learned.

  • NPI quick ramp-up production problem solving and conduct NPI process handover to production.
  • Knowledge of power electronics for motor inverters and understanding of electronic circuits.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication buses, mainly CAN and CAN-FD, and experience with related tools (Vector, NI, ECU diagnostic tools).
  • Experience with MCU programming and flashing over CAN (DAP, vFlash, Diagra).
  • Understanding of electronic testing to support inverter and PCBA testing (functional testers, insulation testing, etc.).
  • Experience with electronic manufacturing processes (soldering, assembly, adhesive dispensing, curing, pressing-fit).
  • Experience in ESD prevention and controls.
  • Familiarity with cleanliness control and relevant standards such as VDA19.2 or GB/T 41481.
  • Cleanroom experience (ISO Class 7) or equivalent cleanliness control practices.
  • Ability to lead process systematization, standardization, create/update standard work, and share NPI lessons learned.
