Position Summary

We have an opportunity for a Sr. Manager, Supply Chain - Planning to join our team. This role leads a cross-functional planning process to guide sales, supply chain, and manufacturing operations in support of revenue, cost, and margin targets. You will work closely with multi-functional teams to plan capacity and output through an integrated Sales and Operations Planning process and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance profitability and digitization in the supply chain. This position offers the chance to make a direct impact on critical business objectives while improving existing processes in a fast-paced environment.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
Location: Winchester, KY
100% Onsite

The Role
  • Provide process leadership and analytical support for the Sales and Operations Planning process

  • Own the production schedule, manage risks and opportunities, and ensure schedule optimization and acceleration opportunities are realized

  • Attend Pre-Sales and Operations Planning meetings and communicate schedule dates to align with demand needs

  • Assist finance with monthly absorption forecasting and weekly updates

  • Oversee reporting of key performance indicators related to the Sales and Operations Planning process, including on-time delivery, backlog, customer temperature, and forecast accuracy

  • Drive process improvements, including process controls and tools for Sales and Operations Planning, inventory accuracy, and supply chain process controls

  • Provide support for ad-hoc requests related to plan execution

  • Lead artificial intelligence and digitization initiatives in the supply chain to improve efficiency and agility

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts across the supply chain to enhance flexibility, efficiency, and throughput

  • Coordinate with the Quality team for timely release of finished goods to support on-time delivery and site forecast objectives

  • Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure proper invoicing to customers and resolve disputes on aging accounts receivable

  • Perform other duties as required in support of Catalent Pharma Solutions’ high performance

The CandidateMinimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering preferred).

  • 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning in a manufacturing environment

  • Sustained sitting at desk or workstation with use of phones, computers, and other office equipment as required

  • Static stance or standing as needed

  • File and folder storage with non-repetitive light weightlifting, reaching, and forward bending as necessary

  • Infrequent overhead lifting of up to 15 lbs., with potential to lift up to 35 lbs. and push/pull 40 lbs.

  • Specific vision requirements include reading written documents and frequent use of a computer monitor

  • Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent‑sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.

Preferred Skills & Background
  • Master of Business Administration desired

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management certification preferred

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or lean experience preferred
