The Sr Manager, Special Projects (DCR) reports directly to the leader of DaVita Clinical Research.  This teammate will be responsible for partnering with various functions across the DCR business to drive strategic planning, management process, business communications and aggregating / synthesizing information to support business processes and decision-making.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Support the DCR executives in crafting and executing on strategic initiatives 
  • Organize core operating efforts and drive collaboration across lanes, including owning project management efforts
  • Support internal communication by helping to crafting and delivering key messages 
  • Highlight management process gaps or improvement opportunities, then implement solutions 
  • Lead critical projects working across multiple service lanes; monitor metrics, track progress of initiatives, and prepare presentations for senior leadership 
  • Collaborate across teams to perform analyses and synthesize results 
  • Support in the development and improvement of a top performing leadership team 
  • Work across teams to advance best-in-class capabilities in the market 
  • Regularly apprise executives of project status and variations from schedule or scope 

Strategy & Project Execution: 

  • Manages and drives strategic and operational initiatives in collaboration with other teams 
  • Able to structure ambiguous problems into clear workstreams and drive execution 
  • Develops and communicates project scope, timeline, plan, resource requirements, and assumptions 
  • Creates, implements, and drives adoption of processes and solutions to further clinical and business outcomes 
  • Communicates project status updates and needs to senior leadership; prepares, reports, an manages against targets/goals including scope, schedule, metrics, and revenue 
  • Scope, plan and execute multiple, often quick-turnaround projects with minimal assistance 

Education & Experience Requirements: 

  • Prior experience in Strategy, Consulting with Project Management or a similar role supporting enterprise-level initiatives within healthcare or financial operations leadership 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or graduate degree preferred 
  • At least 5 years of experience in a strategic or operational leadership role 
  • A minimum of 1 years of project management experience 
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint required 
  • Prior experience in healthcare services and/or working with payors, physician networks, pharmaceutical companies, or clinical research organizations preferred
  • Must be comfortable researching and presenting internal and external data to help senior leaders make decisions
  • Demonstrated track record of top performance

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.

The Salary Range for the role is $98,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year.

 

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour

Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.71/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
