As the Sales Innovation Manager, you will be a driving force behind the evolution of Xero’s sales technology and processes. You will navigate a complex environment to translate business needs into clear requirements and outcomes, ensuring our global sales organisation has the tools and workflows needed to thrive. Your work directly contributes to a stronger economy by making small business more efficient and connecting them with sophisticated technology.

Success in this position involves improving sales process efficiency and delivering high-quality system enhancements that meet the genuine needs of our sellers. You will lead the delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring that new tools are adopted effectively across the globe while maintaining a clear focus on measurable growth and operational excellence.

The team / how they connect

You will join the Global Sales Operations team, specifically within the Sales Innovation arm, working in close partnership with Sales Leadership, Customer Technology, and Enterprise Technology. This cross-functional group collaborates to align go-to-market strategies with technical solutions, ensuring consistency across our global operations.

The team is currently working on / Initially, you will focus on

  • Driving the delivery of sales technology and process improvements that support broader strategic goals.

  • Managing the intake and prioritisation process for system-related requests to align with our Go-To-Market strategy.

  • Partnering with Customer Technology to evaluate new system requests and review designed solutions.

  • Defining and measuring KPIs to track the effectiveness of programs and drive continuous improvement.

  • You have a knack for building strong relationships and can influence and inspire teams across different departments such as marketing, finance, and technology.

  • Working with project management methodologies like Agile or Scrum is second nature to you when shepherding projects from inception to deployment.

  • You offer exceptional stakeholder management skills, feeling comfortable facilitating trade-off discussions and presenting to senior management.
