The Sr. Manager, Sales Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing the sales operations function to support revenue growth, improve sales productivity, and enhance operational efficiency across the organization. This role partners closely with leadership, sales, marketing, operations, IT and other key stakeholders to develop and execute strategies, streamline processes, and provide data-driven insights that enable the sales team to achieve business objectives. The Senior Sales Operations Manager will also oversee the management of sales tools, reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis.


Strategic Leadership

  • Develops and executes sales operations strategies that align with company objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Partners with senior leadership define sales goals, performance metrics, and sales incentive programs.
  • Leads initiatives to improve sales process efficiency, pipeline management, and forecasting accuracy.

Sales Enablement & Support

  • Provides strategic support to sales leadership in territory planning, account segmentation, and quota setting.
  • Oversees implementation and adoption of CRM and sales enablement tools to maximize team productivity.
  • Develops and delivers training and resources to support sales teams in achieving revenue targets.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Designs, manages, and delivers accurate and timely sales performance dashboards, KPIs, and reports.
  • Analyzes pipeline health, conversion metrics, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Presents actionable insights and recommendations to executive leadership for decision-making.

Operational Excellence

  • Standardizes sales processes, methodologies, and best practices across the organization.
  • Ensures data integrity and consistency across CRM and reporting systems.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives within sales operations to increase scalability and effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partners with finance, marketing, and operations teams to align go-to-market strategies and resource allocation.
  • Collaborates with IT and systems teams to ensure effective integration and functionality of sales technology platforms.

Education and Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or revenue operations, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience working with sales processes, methodologies, and performance metrics.
  • Advanced level with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite) and sales analytics tools
  • Experience analyzing data, generating insights, and influencing executive decision-making.
  • Experience leading and influencing others in a respectful manner.
  • Experience successfully driving operational improvements within a complex sales organization.

The anticipated salary $125,000-$145,000 range for this position is $xx,xxx - $xx,xxx, and includes benefits such as the following:

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field
  • MBA
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
