Sr. Manager, Sales Development (EMEA)


Job Description:

*This is a hybrid position based out of our London office*

The Sr. Manager, Sales Development will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and expanding our sales development team in EMEA, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified leads to support our sales organization. 


Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
  • Set clear goals, KPIs, and provide coaching and mentorship to drive team performance.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Sales Development Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a sales development strategy to generate high-quality leads.
  • Define targets, quotas, and performance metrics for the team.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment.

Lead Generation:

  • Oversee lead generation efforts, including outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, and market research.
  • Implement lead scoring and routing processes to optimize lead quality.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

Process Optimization:

  • Streamline sales development processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Continuously assess and improve lead qualification and outreach methods.
  • Implement sales technology and tools to enhance team performance.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

  • Create reports and dashboards to track and analyze sales development KPIs.
  • Provide regular performance updates to senior management.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment in lead management.
  • Act as a liaison between sales development and other departments.
  • Share insights, feedback, and recommendations with relevant stakeholders.

Training and Development:

  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales development team.
  • Keep team members informed of industry trends, best practices, and product knowledge.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales development or a related role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position within a startup organization managing the EMEA region. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales development targets and quotas.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales technology.
