FUNCTION – SCOPE STATEMENT:


Support, promote, and enhance the mission, vision, and direction of the BGCGH. Ensure high quality programming by creating systems and plans for clubs. Responsible for outcomes management of Club programs with a primary concern for ensuring impact and success. 



MAJOR JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Planning

  1. Prioritize programs for focus and implementation at all or specific Clubs.
  2. Ensure programs are consistent with organizational logic model, goals, and mission.
  3. Create and sustaining strategic relationships to further high-quality program development
  4. Manage performance of direct reports. Provide direction, support and guidance on an ongoing basis to ensure high quality programming.

Program Management and Implementation

  1. Manage organizational program goals; ensuring that Club staff understand and can also effectively communicate standards of the programs.
  2. Ensure members participation in the program areas/activities and develop methods for gathering constructive feedback to improve skills in program areas.
  3. Evaluate programs on a continual basis.
  4. Provide training and development opportunities for staff.
  5. Work with the internal (staff) program committee to enhance programs at all Clubs.
  6. Other duties as assigned

 

Grant Management

  1. Work with the Development department for coordinating activities and deliverables.
  2. Write and craft responses, reports, materials, and program information as needed and assigned. 

 

Resource Management

  1. Ensure programs and activity expenditures are within approved budgets.
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  2. A minimum of 5 years work experience in a non-profit agency operations management and supervision, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  3. Experience in leading teams
  4. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and to develop solutions to problems with limited supervision.
  6. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Club staff, subordinates, Board members, community groups, and other related agencies.
  7. Ability to work regular business hours; periodic evenings, nights and

weekends

  1. Must be able to pass any and all required background screens and drug screens at any time
  2. Must have satisfactory driving record, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties.


RELATIONSHIPS:

 

Internal:  Maintains close contact with Club Directors and Program Managers to provide assistance in matters of programming; interacts regularly with VP, Programs.

External: Maintains contact with external community groups, schools and others collaborations that support the operational efficiency of the BGCGH.
