As a Product Lead for Equity and Bond Trading Technology, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering technology capabilities that support trading workflows. You will partner closely with business, and engineering teams to translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, manage day‑to‑day execution, and ensure high‑quality delivery of key platform enhancements.
You will be accountable for understanding trading business goals and plans, coordinating cross-team dependencies, supporting modernization initiatives and driving continuous improvement for the trading technology platforms. Key Responsibilities
Product Execution & Delivery
• Lead the execution of the product roadmap for one of the trading engineering teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Translate business requirements into clear feature definitions, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
• Manage backlog prioritization, planning, and day‑to‑day product team activities to support predictable, high‑quality delivery.
• Monitor delivery progress, resolve blockers, and ensure timely implementation of enhancements and fixes.
Stakeholder Partnership
• Build strong relationships with traders, operations, and technology partners to gather feedback and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Communicate status, risks, and dependencies to product leadership and business stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing materials for senior leadership updates, roadmap reviews, and governance forums.
Domain Expertise & Analysis
•Develop a deep understanding of trading system broker interaction, Financial Interaction eXchange ( FIX) protocol and features, regulatory requirements, and system capabilities for execution management products
