Sr Manager, Product Management

The Role: 

Our manufacturing excellence center in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Sr. Manager Product Management to join our team. This SBU Leader is responsible for leading a rapidly growing business within the semiconductor industry, developing a thorough understanding of our products, market, and business. The successful leader must be passionate about enabling our customers’ success and acts as the critical link between the customers, sales, engineering, manufacturing, and other internal departments, working directly with cross-functional team members in alignment with BU objectives and commercial strategies.   

What You’ll Do: 

• Lead the cross-functional Flywheel team for this business, including Product Management, ER&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance partners.  

• Manage the profit centers within the SBU to achieve revenue and margin targets. 

• Develop forecasts in coordination with Sales, and work with Operations and Supply Chain partners to consistently deliver quarterly results. 

• Maintain a high level of market understanding including competition, customer applications, industry roadmap and market trends. Use this knowledge to develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned with business strategy, market trends, and key customer needs.  

• Build relationships with global Entegris teams and our customers through regular communication, web meetings, and in-person visits to support business goals and opportunities.  

• Generate and present business and technical materials (evaluation reports, product promotion, industry studies, business planning) to support the range of activities described for this role. 

• Monitor and analyze business performance with Finance and Operation partners, and drive actions to achieve and exceed goals.  

• Own New Product Development projects to ensure the right products are delivered on time and aligned with our customers’ needs.  

• Develop team members through coaching, mentoring and regular feedback.   

What We Seek: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as, but not limited to, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Chemical or Materials Engineering or an equivalent combination of training and experience; or a demonstrated capability to perform the duties of the job.  

• MBA preferred.  

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience at a management level and 5 years’ experience in a multidisciplinary company customer facing role.   

• Capable of traveling globally and working independently in a variety of settings.  

• Collaborative, team oriented, strong ability to work well with others.   

• Strong capability using standard suite of Microsoft Office products.

• Ability to solve and communicate, both verbally and written, complex problems where judgment is required in resolving and making recommendations.  

• Working knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of common manufacturing technologies and parts fabrication techniques.  

• Flexibility to adapt to work environment, work force, and customers’ needs.  

• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and related processes.  

• English skills with the ability to communicate effectively through conversation, oral presentations, and written reports.  

• Strong critical thinking skills, creativity, and curiosity.  

• Positive and consultative demeanor with strong work ethic and the ability to interact with technical and non-technical resources.  

• Knowledge and experience in safe working practices for both laboratory and wafer manufacturing environments.

• Salary in the $155,000K-$195,000K/year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
