What will you do?

The role of Senior Manager - PRA is responsible for providing leadership, direction, strategic vision and operational management to the development and implementation of pricing and reimbursement strategies and tactics to support commercial success across product life-cycle in China market.  The position will also be accountable for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders including payers, payer advisors, KOLs and industry associations.

Responsibilities:

•    Access strategy development

o    New products’ strategic pricing, reimbursement & access strategy development.

o    Facilitate access strategy implementation for CMA, Access, KAM and cross functions

o    Initiate Alternative Pricing Strategy and lifecycle PRA strategy for new pipelines

•    Payer insight driven decision making and operation

o    Consolidate the payer insights from market research / interview and the analysis of policy trend

o    Tailor the product’s payer value proposition and develop payer dossier for reimbursement and negotiation application (NRDL, CHI)

o    Health Economic & Outcome research data implication and application for Value-based Lobby 

o    Therapeutic Area Environmental Shaping coordination with cross functional teams

o    Manage internal communication on reimbursement status

o    Track and report competitor’s pricing actions

•    Tactic planning

o    As the liaison for the communication between CA, BUs, Medical and cross functional teams

o    Integrate cross functional resources to support PRA strategic programs

o    Facilitate the PRA session for annual CC, BP and OP development

o    Facilitate the PRA related stakeholder engagement plan, implementation and follow up 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree (e.g., Master's degree, MD, PhD, MBA) preferred

• Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience required; preference given to candidates with experience in market access related field.

• Strong knowledge of market access policy and procedures.

• Experience interacting with payer, external stakeholders and industry associations

• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful access and reimbursement strategies and programs

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to lead and influence others, both internally and externally

• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and collaborate effectively with multiple cross functional areas, particularly Marketing and Medical

• Willingness to travel within region and internationally (approximately 20%)
