The strategic and results-driven Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing leads the global digital marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for driving digital performance across SEO, SEM, and web platforms, leveraging external agency partnerships and managing a high-performing internal team of web content manager, front-end and back-end developers.  The Director, Digital Marketing, is responsible for delivering engaging, enriching digital experiences and optimizing the buyer’s journey across every stage of the marketing funnel. Our website(s) is a strategic marketing asset, as such the Director is responsible for the online representation of Promethean’s Brand, products, and message, this role drives our digital demand generation through website traffic, user experience, search engine optimization, digital marketing, and automation. Responsible for optimizing each stage of our marketing automation through data analysis to provide best in class end-to-end digital experiences.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a clear technology vision, strategy, and objectives that enhances Promethean’s online presence and drives demand generation through SEO, SEM, and website optimization.
  • Lead and collaborate with external digital agencies to deliver high impact workstreams across corporate and regional websites and search engines.
  • Manage and mentor internal web content and development teams to ensure seamless execution of digital initiatives and continuous innovation.
  • Own the end-to-end digital experience, ensuring the website reflects Promethean’s brand, products, and messaging while delivering intuitive, engaging user journeys.
  • Continuously refine the marketing funnel through data-driven insights, improving conversion rates and accelerating pipeline growth.
  • Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics to inform strategy, improve ROI, and deliver best-in-class digital experiences.
  • Own the ROI targets for digital channels, including paid search, retargeting and display ads.
  • Leverage digital tools and platforms to automate and personalize user experiences, optimizing each stage of the buyer’s journey.
  • Influence and support the research, validation, and adoption of new technologies to support platform optimization.
  • Implement digital marketing best practices to maximize impact across SEO, web analytics, conversion rate optimization, etc.
  • In partnership with sales and marketing ops and BI teams, develop success metrics tracking including lead capture, nurture, and conversion, ROMI, new account penetration and customer acquisition costs (CAC).
  • Own the design, development, and marketing dev ops teams for all corporate and regional multilanguage campaign websites and landing pages as appropriate.
  • Partner with the brand and content strategy teams to deliver a world-class, engaging corporate website. Focus on continuous improvement and drive website redesigns to maintain high conversions on the site.
  • Establish governance, quality assurance, and consistent customer experience. ensure privacy, and security compliance for all digital assets.
  • Support customer and partner marketing activities designed to expand an account footprint, customer retention and advocacy.
  • Responsible for the overall marketing tech stack and associated integration of tools and databases.
  • Monitor and analyze site performance for continuous improvement.
  • Execute the web and digital experience strategy for a complex, multi-tier and multi-lingual corporate site focused on driving awareness and demand generation.
  • Lead internal development team and/or agencies in the coding and optimization of the web properties.
  • Lead team to deliver platform localization framework to improve the experience across the international customer journey.
  • Create strategic CRM campaigns and optimize lead nurture.
  • Lead digital content review and recommendations to improve conversions.
  • Leverage Salesforce, Pardot and Salesforce integration for empowering the internal team, and building/maintaining marketing automation and funnel efficiency.
  • Partner with sales ops to ensure complete tracking and campaign integration for inbound and outbound digital campaigns.
  • Leverage agencies to execute SEM strategies that optimize bid strategy, keyword research, and landing page architecture to drive high-quality conversions for the regional VP’s.
  • Stay current on new regulations that impact digital marketing and introduce platform or process innovation to address changes.
  • Serve as customer data steward and ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR
  • Manage, coach, and mentor team including career development, performance management, and DE&I.

Job Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, digital marketing or related discipline; MBA preferred
  • 8-10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on SEO/SEM, web development, and marketing automation, preferably in related industry
  • 5+ years of proven success managing external agencies and internal technical teams.
  • Working knowledge of programming languages and operating systems
  • Strong knowledge and experience in WordPress
  • Experience with CMS platforms, web technologies, and global digital operations tools such as Salesforce, Pardot, HubSpot, Google Analytics
  • Proven leadership experience carrying out digital design and development, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy
  • Experience in building world class websites driving brand awareness and demand
  • Expertise in digital analytics, user experience design, and conversion optimization.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and manage teams in remote locations, leading the team to effectively deliver multi-disciplinary projects on time and to customer expectations.
  • Entrepreneurial, agile, creative mindset with the ability to work well in a rapidly changing environment
  • Customer-centric, driven to meet customer needs
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience in a global B2B technology or education technology environment preferred.

Base Range: $128,700 - $160,900 + Bonus Eligible
For business reasons, Promethean does not employ individuals who work remotely in San Francisco, San Jose or Oakland.
