Job Description
Your Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our technology team in managing critical systems related to Oracle Database, Oracle E-Business Suite, and cloud integration. As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the availability, stability, scalability, and performance of our enterprise applications. Your expertise in Oracle technologies and cloud integration will be essential for driving efficiency and innovation across our organization.
Oracle Database Management:
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and performance tuning of Oracle databases including Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).
- Collaborate with database administrators (DBAs) to ensure data integrity, backup and recovery processes, and high availability.
- Implement best practices for database security and compliance.
- Experience with planning and running disaster recovery tests for Oracle RAC databases and application servers.
- Familiarity with Oracle’s Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) cloud databases
Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS):
- Manage instance cloning and refresh strategy for Oracle E-Business Suite environments by automating cloning procedures and validating cloned environments to ensure reliability.
- Manage tuning and performance of concurrent managers maintaining job queues ensuring its scalability and uptime.
- Lead EBS implementation, upgrades, and customization projects.
- Manage EBS modules such as Financials, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Manufacturing.
- Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within EBS.
Cloud Integration:
- Design and implement seamless integrations between on-premises systems (including Oracle EBS and Oracle DB) and cloud platforms (such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Leverage middleware tools and APIs to create robust, scalable, and secure integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and real-time synchronization.
Microsoft SQL:
- Provide oversight for Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Collaborate with SQL Server DBAs to optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain data integrity.
- Ensure compatibility and smooth data flow between Oracle and Microsoft SQL environments.
Team Leadership and Strategy:
- Manage an external third party offshore 24x7 Oracle database and Oracle EBS administration team through effective communication skills to deliver high quality database services.
- Mentor and guide a team of technical professionals, including core Oracle DBAs, EBS application DBAs, and cloud services integration specialists.
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for Oracle EBS and DB that is aligned with the set business goals and objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Prepare and maintain architecture and topology diagrams and documentation related to Oracle databases and applications.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including hands-on work with Oracle Database, Oracle E-Business Suite, and cloud integration.
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft T-SQL, and scripting languages.
- Experience with middleware tools (such as Oracle Integration Cloud).
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence technology decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
