The Role

The Sr. Manager, Enterprise Data Strategy and Analytics partners with Xylem’s Service & Asset Management (SAM) workstreams to ensure that all initiatives align with the enterprise data strategy. In this role, you will connect SAM business stakeholders with the AI & Enterprise Data organization, drive adoption of analytics and AI capabilities, and deliver measurable outcomes that enhance service operations and asset performance.

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between SAM stakeholders and the AI & Enterprise Data team to ensure analytics and AI initiatives support organizational goals.

  • Lead the execution of Xylem’s Data Strategy and Roadmap for the Service & Asset Management process area.

  • Build and sustain strong partnerships with SAM leaders to ensure AI and analytics solutions translate into tangible business impact.

  • Collaborate with business partners to identify, assess, and prioritize high‑value opportunities for data‑driven insights and advanced analytics.

  • Translate SAM business needs into actionable AI, data, and analytics initiatives with clearly defined and measurable outcomes.

  • Lead programs that strengthen AI and analytics literacy across SAM through training, enablement, and change management.

  • Drive adoption of self‑service analytics tools and AI‑powered solutions that empower frontline teams and streamline decision‑making.

  • Promote best practices in data visualization, predictive modeling, and generative AI applications aimed at improving service operations and asset lifecycle performance.

  • Support enterprise data governance by championing data quality, data security, and compliance across all analytics initiatives.

  • Advocate for standardized delivery methodologies, processes, and tools across analytics and AI projects.

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to fuel continuous improvement and innovation in SAM workflows.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data strategy roles.

  • 5+ years of experience in business relationship management, program management, or leading cross‑functional initiatives.

  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across technical and operational teams.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Service & Asset Management (SAM) processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.

  • Experience applying AI or advanced analytics within service operations or asset‑intensive organizations.

  • Background in enterprise data governance, data architecture, or data quality management.

  • Experience building and delivering analytics or AI training and enablement programs.

Travel Requirements
