The Sr. Manager of Sales and Marketing Compensation is responsible for managing the administration and support of HGV’s compensation function for Sales and Marketing. This role will work with Sales, Marketing, HR, and Business Operations leaders to evaluate, develop, and implement new and revised variable incentive programs in support of organizational goals and competitive practices. This position is also responsible through cross-functional partnership for ensuring thorough audits and that compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- In partnership with Sales and Marketing, provide strategic and technical support for the evaluation, development, and implementation of variable incentive programs.
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of compensation programs and processes, providing recommendations to leadership that support organizational objectives, align to compensation trends and drive employee engagement.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of all Sales & Marketing compensation programs to effectively communicate philosophy, strategy, and calculations.
Act as a compensation thought partner and subject matter expert, providing advice to leadership on best practices, policies, and industry trends.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to ensure compensation programs support effective recruitment, talent retention, and employee development.
Perform compensation analysis, develop recommendations, and present to leadership in a way that aligns with HGV’s vision/mission, compensation philosophy and organizational objectives.
Stay updated on industry trends, legislation, and market practices related to commission- based and variable incentive compensation, and proactively recommend adjustments.
Required Qualifications:
• A minimum of 7 years experience within an HR management job capacity
• A minimum of 3 years experience related to Compensation
• Proficient in oral and written English
• Experience administering commission-based and variable incentive plans
• Solid critical thinking and both quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and to provide recommendations for optimal solutions.
• Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to direct collaborative efforts throughout the Hilton organization, possibly including internal resources, external resources and other constituent groups as appropriate with the aim of furthering Company goals.
• Ability to manage change, resolve conflicts and ensure collaboration within teams and/or units; includes maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems; ability to develop problem solving skills among direct reports and other team members as appropriate.
