How You Will Make an Impact:
The EMEA Commercial team within the Genetic Sciences Division of Life Sciences Solutions Group in Thermo Fisher Scientific drives more than $550M in annual revenue through a diverse product portfolio, operating in a broad breadth of market segments. As Sr. Manager, Commercial FP&A, you will drive revenue and strategic customer partnerships alongside our business leaders through application of forward-looking analytics, business acumen and modern finance tools used to inform strategy and guide execution. You will also be responsible for investment decisions, headcount management and other operating expense to create the right structure to support our teams in their path to execution.
Reporting directly to the Director of Finance and supporting multiple high-level business leaders, this role offers high visibility, broad influence and will allow for tremendous growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with Global and EMEA Commercial Leadership to enable accelerating the business through key customer and trend analyses, thorough deal management, key performance indicator tracking and variance reporting
- Leverage visualization tools and AI to streamline information, find opportunities for growth, target workflows and enhance actionable insights
- Drive our Operating Expense, Headcount & Investment management processes and reporting
- Partner with the business to drive Forecasting Mechanisms, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic 5-Year Plan (STRAP)
- Define critical metrics to measure success and drive initiatives to meet goals
- Develop models that help with decision-making based on strategic thought leadership
- Continuously drive operational improvements (PPI) in our internal processes
Keys to Success:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or other business-related subject areas (MBA, CFA a plus)
- Typically, 8+ years of progressive finance experience
- Self-reliant, problem solver with a natural bias towards proactive continuous improvement
- Unique ability to drive the business forward through partnership with commercial leaders
- Advanced analytical modelling and storytelling skills, with strong experience in Excel, Power BI, AI-enabled analytics
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet timelines, be detail oriented, and organized
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with senior management verbally and in writing
- Consistent track record of working with a diverse group of individuals
- Demonstrated experience in a sophisticated, multinational, heavily matrixed organization
- Embraces challenges in a continuously evolving environment

Compensation
The salary range estimated for this position based in is €82,500.00–€137,500.00.Skills Required
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business-related subject areas
